You should be able to tell that they are infact BBs by looking at the shell interior and the kick hoop interiors. If you look inside the shell, is the wood dark redbrown (bubinga) or does it looks like maple or birch (very light brownyellowbeige), the difference should be easy to see when you look at the bearing edges too if you have the BB. As j kuhI said, they wére originally madé in Jápan but Tama switchéd most of théir production to Chiná to reduce mánufacturing costs. Many cymbals. Some pics of my 2 other kits (middle of the page).
